Watkins Street members past and present had quite a day on Sat Feb 24th. We had 130 tickets to the Islanders – Canadians game at Nassau Colliseum to root on Chris Higgins 17 goals a star player for Montreal. Chris proud father Bobby is the current long time Captain of E231. Chris despite playing with a partially separated shoulder would not disappoint his fans from Watkins Street as he scored a goal in the 3-2 loss. We are pretty certain Chris and the entire Coliseum heard our appreciation Special thanks to Billy McLaughlin E231 for coordinating the tickets and tailgating party as well as the probies who also did a nice job. We hope to some day enjoy chow at Watkins St. with the Stanley Cup in the middle of the table See Pictures in Photo Gallery Section of website in Present Day Album
